Ranger Creek Tea Tapper

Texas summers can be scorching hot, and drinking bourbon neat when it’s 90 degrees outside is not for everyone (even though we still like to do it). We believe using premium bourbon in a cocktail is okay if the drink highlights the flavor of the bourbon, not masks it. This one does just that and is also very refreshing. It also happens to be featured in San Antonio Magazine’s summer issue! It’s best enjoyed outdoors at a BBQ or picnic.
2 ounces sweet tea
¾ ounce pomegranate juice
1 ½ ounces Ranger Creek .36 Texas Bourbon
1 slice lemon
1 slice orange
Fill an old fashioned glass 3/4 way to the top with ice. Mix liquids in and stir. Rim glass with lemon. Garnish with orange slice.
Hint: Scale the recipe up to pitcher-size by multiplying all the liquid quantities by 5.
